"Legalize Street Art"

Street art and stencils: Even though they belong together, I divided them up in two posts to get a better overview. Very few of the Street Art pictures might actually be stencils, so please excuse the few eventual mistakes below. For me, steet art is the creative expression in public without any external request or commercial order which creates the substential difference to art in public space. This is the main reason for my passion since having this preposititon, street art is always a statement on society and politics itself without censorship because it represents a not necessarily wanted but publicly expressed statement of the artist. So street art does what especially contemporary art is supposed to do: it creates discourse and communication in public. And besides all that theoretical crap, it simply makes our streets look more beautiful. I hope you enjoy...
